On the 6th of July 2023, the Langdon Hills Golf Club played host to an inaugural future tradition for the charity – the MCA Trust Toy Ball. The evening unfolded as a testament to the fantastic support we’ve had over the past 10 years – from our dedicated volunteers, our generous corporates, and most importantly – the courageous NHS staff at local NHS Trust hospitals.
Over 140 of our generous supporters, of both past and present, gathered in the Langdon Hills Fairway Suite for an evening of celebration to wrap up what’s been a record-breaking year for the MCA Trust. A celebration of raising £500,000 to date, coupled with the late great Micky Adams’ birthday – the evening was destined to be a success.
An inaugural event for the charity, the MCA Trust provided over 140 complimentary tickets – and only asked for a small toy donation in return. This was incredibly well-received, and each toy would be lovingly donated, by Santa Claus, at our MCA Trust Christmas Party, to help spread some festive cheer at some very tough times. Any surplus toys will be donated to our local partner NHS Trust Hospital’s as part of our annual Christmas giving campaign.

A huge thank you to everyone in attendance on the evening, the trustee’s here at the Trust are overwhelmed with how well-recieved the Christmas giving campaign has been – and we can’t wait to help spread some festive cheer this Christmas time.
