On Saturday 9th December 2023, London East Business Park played host for the second year running to one of our flagship traditions at the charity – the MCA Trust Christmas Party. An annual celebration, this event is a testament for to the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers and NHS staff as well as the children and their families we support.
Every year, we invite over 50 children and their families from local NHS Trust Hospitals and gift them a present to help spread some festive cheers through difficult times. Festive arts & crafts, various Christmas themed stalls and the talented Lightnin’ and Thunder Production group helped entertain our guests throughout the day.
Hand-in-hand with our Toy Ball, we handed out 140 complimentary tickets – and only asked for a small toy donation in return. Incredibly well received, with gifts over the value of £100 – each toy was picked out and gifted in Santa’s Grotto. All surplus toys were donated to local partner NHS Trust hospitals as part of our annual Christmas giving campaign.
