THE MCA TRUST WELCOMES A NEW PATRON
The MCA Trust would like to welcome on board a new Patron, Sue Ospreay.
Sue has been raising thousands of pounds for charities over the past 40 years. At the age of 17, she formed Lightnin' Drama Group to raise money for a local Breast Cancer Unit that was facing closure. The amateur group performed a variety show in a small village hall in Rainham, and had so much fun that they decided to keep going. 40 years later, Lightnin' Drama Group is going from strength to strength. She has helped hundreds of children grow in confidence, develop their skills and seen many form a career in the entertainments industry. Writing plays and musicals on current affairs and local history, Sue has stood by her vision to bring theatre to the community and to make the arts accessible for all. Sue heads many campaigns for her local community, as well as assisting to produce events for the Rainham Village Association. From the beginning, Sue was a firm supporter of the MCA Trust and was there from the start helping us to put a smile on the children's faces. We are so honoured to welcome her on board as a patron, and look forward to creating many more memories with her!
