The Michael Charles Adams MBE Memorial Trust aids and assists local children with brain related cancers. We are in partnership with The Queens hospital Romford, to grant children with brain related cancers a special wish, or a donate a piece of equipment to help make their lives a little easier or special.

The Trust was born due to the many years of charity work done by a very special man, Michael Charles Adams [Mick], who devoted many, many years to his charity work. He was recognised for this by receiving an MBE from Her Majesty The Queen in 2002.

Mick was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2010 and after a very short illness, passed away. Whilst receiving his treatment, his thoughts were still about others and he wanted to ‘make a difference’ for the children of the hospital who were suffering as he was. As he didn’t have time to fulfil his wish, his family and friends decided to set up the Trust in his name, and so the MCA Trust was born.

The Trust is run on an entirely voluntary basis, which enables every penny raised, or donated, to go to the children it aims to help.
